6 Things You Should Quit Right Now

Several habits we partake in every day can be very self-destructive. The good news, you have the power to quit them, all it takes is a change of mindset and mental awareness.

You will instantly feel better and be more productive once you quit these 6 things:

1. Trying to please everyone. It's impossible to make everyone happy. The only happiness you can control is your own.

2. Living in the past. Don't focus on what has already happened, you can't change that. Focus on what you can change; the future.

3. Overthinking everything. You are giving life to thoughts that are not real and this behavior can be very destructive. Live in the present moment and think about what is real and happening around you.

4. Fearing change. Change is a beautiful thing. The only way we can learn, adapt, and grow is through change.

5. Putting yourself down. You can't control what others say about you, but you can control what you say about yourself.  Talk about yourself in the same way you would talk about your best friend.

6. Comparing yourself. Everyone has their own unique journey in life. Comparing your goals and dreams to someone else's dreams and goals is like comparing apples to oranges.
